Nationalist ICT Forum Begins New Era With Fresh Leadership
The Nationalist ICT Forum (NICTF) has reconstituted its executive committee and approved its constitution during an emergency general meeting held on June 29 at the auditorium of Club NotreDamians Bangladesh Limited in Banani, Dhaka.
The meeting reviewed the forum's activities, discussed plans to strengthen its organizational structure, and outlined priorities for future initiatives. Members unanimously approved the organization's constitution, providing a formal governance framework intended to make the forum's operations more structured, transparent, and institutionally robust.
Following the adoption of the constitution, the forum reorganized its executive committee by redistributing existing responsibilities and inducting new members to strengthen its leadership and improve organizational effectiveness.
Under the reconstituted leadership, Professor Dr. Shah J. Mia was appointed Acting President, Rowshan Kamal James was elected General Secretary, Riad Hasnain became Joint General Secretary, and Engineer Mohammad Jewel was elected Organizing Secretary.

The forum also announced a 101-member executive committee, saying the expanded leadership structure is intended to strengthen engagement with ICT professionals, entrepreneurs, technologists and other stakeholders across Bangladesh's technology sector.
In addition, members approved the launch of a nationwide membership registration program, opening the organization to ICT professionals, entrepreneurs, technologists and other interested individuals.
