Apple is preparing to make a major move in the smart home market with a new device reportedly called HomeView. According to reports citing Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, Apple could announce the device on October 13, 2026.

The upcoming HomeView is expected to feature a built-in display, an A18 chip, and Siri voice control, allowing users to manage smart home devices from a central hub. Apple is reportedly planning two versions: one designed for a table or countertop and another that can be mounted on a wall. After mixed results with HomeKit and the HomePod, could HomeView help Apple strengthen its position in the smart home market?

Reports also suggest that Apple may introduce updated versions of Apple TV and HomePod mini. The company is also reportedly exploring partnerships to expand its smart home product lineup.
