Realme has launched the Realme C85 in Bangladesh, following the unveiling of the Realme C85 Pro, with the company positioning the new handset as an affordable model that prioritizes durability and long battery life.

Realme said it officially introduced the phone in Bangladesh on Thursday (December 11).

The company said the C85 comes with a 7,000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. It also includes reverse charging rated at 10W, allowing the handset to charge other devices via its port, Realme added.

Realme said the phone features what it describes as an “IP69 Pro” water-resistance capability and claimed the device can withstand submersion for up to 60 days, based on laboratory testing.

The company also said the wider C85 series has received a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the “most people performing a mobile phone water resistance test simultaneously.”

Despite the emphasis on protection and power, Realme said that the C85 is built around a 6.8-inch LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. The handset runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685 (4G) platform and includes a 50-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera, the company said.

The phone is available in Swan Black and Kingfisher Blue. In Bangladesh, realme listed the 6GB+128GB variant at Tk 18,999 and the 8GB+128GB variant at Tk 20,999 (VAT applicable).
