Meta’s New AI App Creates Outfits From Your Instagram Photos

Meta has introduced Style Sketch, a new AI-powered app designed to help users choose outfits, organize their digital wardrobe, and prepare for trips. The app can connect with Instagram to create a virtual collection of clothing from users’ previously shared photos. Users can also add clothing by taking pictures, recording videos, or uploading images from their phone galleries.

Based on the clothes in their collection and personal preferences, Style Sketch can suggest outfit combinations. It also offers virtual try-on features using realistic models tailored to a user's body shape and skin tone. The app can assist with travel planning as well. Users can provide their destination, trip duration, and planned activities to receive daily outfit suggestions based on weather forecasts and travel schedules.

According to TechCrunch, Style Sketch is currently available on iOS and Android in Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand. Meta has not announced a wider international rollout date.The launch is part of Meta’s broader push into standalone AI-powered apps, expanding its presence beyond its established social media platforms.
