Pathao becomes a Superbrand in Super App Milestone

Pathao, the country’s leading digital services platform, has been awarded the prestigious Superbrands Award 2025 in the Super App category, marking a landmark achievement for a Bangladeshi homegrown tech enterprise.

This is the first time a Bangladeshi brand has received the honour in this category, underlining its role as a trailblazer in the country’s digital economy.

The accolade comes as Pathao commemorates its 10th anniversary, a decade during which it has evolved from a local startup into an internationally recognised platform. Founded in 2015, the company now stands as the market leader in ride-sharing, food delivery, and e-commerce logistics across Bangladesh.

Superbrands is an internationally recognised authority that identifies and celebrates brands that exhibit excellence in quality, reliability, and distinction.

Its awards are based on a rigorous selection process involving both industry experts and consumer feedback, making it one of the most coveted accolades in global branding.

Unlike typical recognitions, which are often awarded within established operational categories, Pathao’s win is particularly significant as it was recognised in a category it pioneered in Bangladesh: the Super App.

The distinction signals international validation for local innovation and reinforces Pathao’s reputation as a transformative force in the country’s tech landscape.

Over the past 10 years, Pathao has built an integrated digital ecosystem that connects millions of users daily through services ranging from ride-hailing and food delivery to parcel logistics and digital payments.
