Uber Launches Premier Plus in Dhaka

Uber has launched a new premium ride category, Premier Plus, in Dhaka, offering passengers access to newer-model sedan vehicles and highly rated drivers as the company looks to enhance travel quality for riders seeking a more comfortable commuting experience.
The new service is designed for users who want a higher standard of ride quality while maintaining the convenience and reliability associated with the Uber platform. According to Uber, Premier Plus will feature newer sedan cars and drivers with strong service ratings, aiming to provide a more dependable and comfortable journey across the capital.
Speaking about the launch, Redwan Rezwan, Country General Manager of Uber Bangladesh, said the company continues to diversify its services to meet the evolving transportation needs of riders.
“Premier Plus is designed for riders who expect a higher standard of service through newer vehicles and highly rated drivers, while still enjoying the convenience and reliability that Uber is known for,” he said.
The launch reflects Uber’s ongoing efforts to segment its ride-hailing services and cater to different customer preferences, ranging from budget-conscious commuters to riders looking for a more premium travel experience.
Passengers booking a Premier Plus ride can expect newer sedan vehicles, experienced drivers with strong customer ratings, and an added level of comfort compared to standard ride options.
To use the service, riders can select the Premier Plus category from the available ride options within the Uber app after entering their destination and reviewing the fare details.
