Logitech Launches Foldable Mobi Fold Mouse for Travelers

Logitech has officially unveiled the Mobi Fold, a new foldable wireless mouse designed for users who need maximum portability without sacrificing functionality. The device arrives after recent leaks revealed its design ahead of launch.

The Mobi Fold is available in Graphite, Off-White, Lilac, and Sand color options. Its standout feature is a hinge that allows the mouse to fold nearly in half, making it compact enough to fit easily into a pocket or small bag.

Designed for Travel

The Mobi Fold uses a clamshell-style folding design that differs from Microsoft’s Arc mouse, which folds completely flat. Logitech says the hinge has been tested to withstand up to 15 years of daily use. A silicone covering wraps around much of the device. This improves grip and helps protect the mouse from minor drops. The flexible pleated section around the hinge also prevents fingers from getting pinched during folding.

Touch Controls and Multi-Device Support

Instead of a traditional scroll wheel, the Mobi Fold features a touch-sensitive panel positioned between the left and right mouse buttons. Users can swipe to scroll through documents and webpages. The touch panel also includes additional programmable controls. Through Logitech’s Logi Options Plus software, users can customize button functions to match their workflow. The mouse supports connections with up to three devices. A button on the underside allows users to switch between paired devices quickly, including laptops and tablets.

Battery and Performance

Logitech claims the rechargeable battery can last up to one month on a full charge. A quick one-minute charge provides up to 22 hours of use. The Mobi Fold also includes a removable battery cover. This design may help improve long-term repairability and battery replacement options.

A 4K DPI optical sensor powers tracking performance, making the device suitable for productivity tasks across different devices and operating systems.
