Football fans in Bangladesh will be able to watch the FIFA World Cup 2026 through digital platforms after Grameenphone's Bioscope+ and Banglalink's Toffee confirmed streaming arrangements for the tournament.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 is scheduled to run from June 11 to July 19, with both platforms set to provide live coverage of all matches across the country.
Bioscope+ Announces Nationwide Streaming
Grameenphone said its aggregator platform Bioscope+ will stream every World Cup match in Bangladesh, allowing users from any mobile network operator to access the coverage.
Matches will also be available through the MyGP and Skitto apps. According to the company, the service is designed to deliver a seamless and uninterrupted viewing experience throughout the tournament. To support fans during the event, Grameenphone has introduced special viewing and internet packages. Under a limited-time offer, customers will be able to stream World Cup matches through a bundled package.
Grameenphone Chief Product Officer Solaiman Alam said football remains a shared passion that brings people together across communities and digital platforms.

Toffee Secures Digital Rights
Banglalink has also confirmed that it secured digital streaming rights for the tournament through its OTT platform Toffee. The company said users will be able to watch all World Cup matches live on the app. While the streaming service itself will be available free of charge, viewers will need to purchase eligible data or viewing packs to access the content.
Banglalink Chief Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Officer Taimur Rahman said the initiative reflects the company's commitment to expanding digital access to major international sporting events in Bangladesh.
Millions Expected to Watch Online
With uncertainty surrounding traditional television broadcast arrangements, digital platforms are expected to play a major role in delivering World Cup coverage to local audiences.
As the tournament kicks off on June 11, millions of football fans across Bangladesh are expected to rely on Bioscope+ and Toffee to follow the action throughout the competition.
